Your Writing Should Not Stink
Your blog won’t make you any money if you don’t write well.
There are hundreds of thousands of blogs out there, and if yours is hard to read and full of errors, you can be sure readers are going elsewhere to find the information they want.
After all, why worry about trying to read your blog when unlimited information just like yours is at their fingertips, and it’s written better?
So, you need to quickly figure out how to smash blogging when your writing stinks.
Here’s What You Need To Do
You can market like crazy and get those pageviews, but if everyone bounces because your writing stinks, it will drastically hurt your blog.
Google will learn that people don’t like reading your stuff, so Google won’t rank you.
You need to improve your writing. Here’s what you need to do:
- Get a basic grammar checker like Grammarly
- Find someone to help you edit your work
- Don’t try to write large, complicated articles until you’ve improved your writing skills
- Make your blog posts short and sweet
- Don’t try to impress your readers to cover up sloppy writing
- Work on improving your writing skills
You Can’t Hide Awful Writing
No matter how funny, how charming, or how informed you are about your topic, you can’t hide horrible writing skills.
Misspelled words leap out of the screen and bite your reader’s nose. It’s obvious and it’s annoying.
So, basically, you need to get better.
If you’re really terrible and you know it, it might be worth it to have someone else write your posts for a little while, until you get better.
